Note: Music for Classes 601-608 should be selected from ABRSM, Trinity/Guildhall, or LCM syllabuses (accompanied pieces only).

600 Strings - Preliminary (pre-Grade 1) Own choice. Time limit 2 minutes.

601 Strings - Grade 1
602 Strings - Grade 2
603 Strings - Grade 3
604 Strings - Grade 4
605 Strings - Grade 5
606 Strings - Grade 6
607 Strings - Grade 7
608 Strings - Grade 8

609 Strings - Junior Open (up to and including Grade 5) Own choice of one or more accompanied pieces to total time limit 4 minutes.

610 Strings – Open (Grade 6 and above) Own choice of one or more accompanied pieces. Time limit not less than 5, nor more than 7 minutes.

611 Strings - Concerto Any standard concerto Allegro or single-movement concerted work. Time limit 7 minutes.

612 Strings Open Unaccompanied - Lower (up to Grade 5) An original unaccompanied piece or movement. Time limit 3 minutes.

613 Strings Open Unaccompanied - Higher (Grade 6 and above) An original unaccompanied piece or movement. Time limit 5 minutes.

614 String Duet - Unaccompanied -12 years and under Any 2 instruments. Own choice. Time limit 2 minutes.

615 String Duet - Unaccompanied -16 years and under Any 2 instruments. Own choice. Time limit 3 minutes.

616 String Duet - Unaccompanied – Open Any 2 instruments. Own choice. Time limit 4 minutes.

617 String Duet - Accompanied -12 years and under Any 2 instruments. Own choice. Time limit 2 minutes.
