In Classes 800 - 806, competitors are asked to select their choice from the broad repertoire of English Song. (Original "Art" Songs only, no "Pop", Musicals"or traditional Folk)
In each class, one song will be required. Time limit 4 minutes. Please specify your choice of song on the entry form. (See Rule 11)
Adjudicators' copies will be required.

| 810 | Young Singers - Operatic Aria (17 years and under) | Own choice. Time limit 6 minutes. |
| 811 | Young Singers – Operetta (17 years and under) | Own choice. Time limit 5 minutes |
| 812 | Young Singers - Folk Song/Traditional Song Accompanied (17 years and under) | Any true Folk or traditional song, not an arrangement. Own choice With accompaniment or self-accompanied. Time limit 5 minutes.Note. entrants are reminded that a true Folk song is transmitted aurally from generation to generation |

| 814 | Young Singers - Song from a Musical Show(11 years and under) | Own choice. Can be performed with piano accompaniment, CD, Mini disc or tape backing track. (Please refer to rule 19). Use of costume/movement encouraged ( Please refer to rule 17) Time limit 5 minutes. |

| 815 | Young Singers - "Pop" Song (17 years and under) | Own choice. Can be performed with piano accompaniment, CD, Mini disc or tape backing track. A microphone will be available - Use optional. Time limit 5 minutes..
