THE TROPHY AND AWARD ARE GIVEN IN MEMORY OF WILLIAM BIRCHAM

SATURDAY 28th March at 7.00pm

Entry to the competition will be by invitation only. Prospective competitors will be nominated by the adjudicators at the conclusion of the classes in each subject. Adjudicators may nominate up to two competitors in each subject: Piano; Woodwind; Brass; Recorders; Strings; Guitar.

Nomination is open only to advanced instrumentalists, and competitors will be selected only from the following classes:

Competitors selected to take part in this competition will be notified as soon as possible after the conclusion of the relevant classes, and will be asked to repeat a specific performance at the competition before a new panel of 3 adjudicators.

THE FESTIVAL WILL AWARD A PRIZE OF £100 TO THE WINNER

AND

The “Festival Musician of the Year” will be offered a public recital opportunity in the Gorleston St. Andrew's Festival of Music & Arts, in November 2009
