The Festival provides a platform for performance of the Arts for amateurs of all ages and abilities. In this way to Festival seeks to foster and enhance enjoyment and sharing of the Arts.

Run by a voluntary committee, the Festival is a registered charity (Charity No 289073). Affiliated to the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech, it as such carries out as far as possible the objects of the Federation.

Now enjoying it's 38th year, the Festival has become renowned for its friendly atmosphere.
